Anderson Benavides
Hygienist
Anderson Benavides is the dental hygienist of our dental team. He
graduated from Hostos Community College in 2018, He joined Dr.Amul
Patel’s office as a part-time hygienist in June, 2020.
Anderson was president of his class and received several awards for his
outstanding achievements during his studies. Some of the awards are:
- The Albert H. Stevenson Awards from the New York State Dental
Association: Awarded to the student who demonstrates academic
and clinical proficiency in the dental hygiene program and the highest
GPA in the dental hygiene courses. - Anderson was the first male to receive the Hostos Registered Dental
Hygienist Hope Award: Awarded to the student who demonstrates a
strong academic profile (highest GPA), professionalism and integrity
while a student in Hostos dental hygiene program. - Gold Medal: Awarded to the student who has shown overall
outstanding clinical proficiency and has demonstrated a commitment
to the future of the dental hygiene profession.During his free time, he loves to read about Stock Market Finance Strategies.
Dr. Aditya (Adi) Sharma, DDS
Dr. Aditya Sharma was born in India and grew up in Utica, NY. Following his undergraduate at SUNY Buffalo, he completed his post-baccalaureate at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and graduate school at North Carolina State University. In 2019, he enrolled at the New York University College of Dentistry, graduating in May 2023. Following dental school, he completed his General Practice Residency at Montefiore Einstein.In his free time, Dr. Sharma enjoys cooking, playing basketball, and rock climbing. He is a fan of the New York Knicks and Baltimore Ravens.
