Meet the Staff

Anderson Benavides is the dental hygienist of our dental team. He
graduated from Hostos Community College in 2018, He joined Dr.Amul
Patel’s office as a part-time hygienist in June, 2020.
Anderson was president of his class and received several awards for his
outstanding achievements during his studies. Some of the awards are:

• The Albert H. Stevenson Awards from the New York State Dental
  Association: Awarded to the student who demonstrates academic
  and clinical proficiency in the dental hygiene program and the highest
  GPA in the dental hygiene courses.
• Anderson was the first male to receive the Hostos Registered Dental
  Hygienist Hope Award: Awarded to the student who demonstrates a
  strong academic profile (highest GPA), professionalism and integrity
  while a student in Hostos dental hygiene program.
• Gold Medal: Awarded to the student who has shown overall
  outstanding clinical proficiency and has demonstrated a commitment
  to the future of the dental hygiene profession.
